Sue Sneesby

Sue Sneesby

Starting out as a student in the lesson program 11 years ago, Sue has come a long way since then! She credits Millpond with developing her riding to what it is today, but Sue has always put the care of horses first and foremost, and for that she thanks Donna. Two years ago Sue was gifted the love of her life, a lovely jet black Argentinean thoroughbred mare known to the rest of us as Gina. Around that time, Sue also started teaching some of the beginners how to ride, bringing her considerable experience to the lesson program. Sue graduated from the University of Florida, earning two Bachelor’s Degrees in Education, specializing in working with the mentally challenged. Some of the responsibilities Sue has taken on since being at Millpond includes working as the volunteer coordinator for the Bit by Bit Therapeutic Riding Program, as well as serving as the director for the Millpond Summer Camp for eight years.

Renee Dessert

Renee Dessert

A rider Millpond since her early teens, she graduated to being a trainer after being a working student. She has touched on many aspects of the horse business durng her time with us, ranging from showing, to training both rider and horse, to breeding her own champion in the form of her lovely young Paparrazzo son Prada G. Renee brings a strong appreciation for the connections forged between Horse and Rider, ad she stresses the importance of this connection in every ride. She has also personally trained many of the Millpond horses.

Brooke Bell

Brooke Bell

We are excited to have Brooke back with us at Millpond Farm! After leaving us for Auburn University where she was a member of the nationally ranked Auburn IHSA Equestrian Team, Brooke returned to Millpond where she once rode her irish sporthorse gelding Some Days Are Diamonds in local and rated shows. Recently married and back from Alabama, she brings her considerable team experience to our IEA coaching team and our Riding Academy where she has started teaching the beginners.

Our Grooming and Maintenance Staff

Where would a good barn be without the people with the know-how and the tools to keep everyone fed and the fences up? Not anywhere good! We'd like to thank the guys and gals who put in the elbow grease to keep our horses at the top of their game, and who sometimes have to fight through Florida's inconsiderate weather to do so! We'd never get along without you!
